I LOVE making hand-dyed indigo moons. No two are alike. Some are full, some wax and some wane. When I pull them from the vat, the result is half engineered, half gift from the Moon Goddess, and they are all so mesmerizing. It takes several dips (and several hours) to arrive at this moon. Patience is the game, and I am never disappointed the unveiling. This lovely is adorned with resist indigo dye and a gorgeous snippet of persimmon Italian linen. The full moon is offset, her face adorned by dark cloud wisps. If you stare at her long enough, you might just howl. 71”L x 15”W. Hand sewn and hand dyed with organic indigo dye. All organic linen.
