I think that art is a magical alchemy of dreams, vision, technique, experimentation and something invisible, an indescribable yet powerful force that sets everything in motion until that dream, that thing that once lived solely in your head comes to life. When the lot mixes perfectly, you arrive at something magnificent that makes your heart stop. You wonder: how could I possibly have thought of this? It’s absolute serendipity.
I was commissioned to make this bespoke scarf for a special soul. When I first received his message, there was something about him that stirred something inside of me. I knew that he needed something special, something that would make his heart sing. I hope it does just that, because I can’t stop thinking about it as it makes its way through the air to its lovely new home. Man alive, I love what I do.
