Do you know that moment when you birth something magnficent? It’s like every fabulous thing in the gallaxy converges and lands in your heart in your head in your lap in your hands, and you find yourself the custodian of something remarkable. I’m fortunate that I have many of these moments in my studio. After a month and a half hiatus, I returned here and this little beauty emerged with its little egg shape holding a clutch of marvelous stars. A warm welcome back indeed.

This awesome little pendant is sterling silver, hallmarked, 2 1/8” long by a little over 1 1/4” wide. Its little domed bail holds a stranded stainless steel necklace to keep her nice and clean and chic. I currently have one of these in the shop, and a sister pendant named ‘Imploded’ was born on the same day. The last six images are of both of these lovelies together so you can compare them and decide which one fits your aesthetic best. This posting is for the smooth little beauty with a belly full of stars.

Be in the know!

  • This piece has been patinated and given a final seal with wax. To maintain the integrity of your new friend, please avoid any situations where vigorous scrubbing or rubbing is involved (i.e., you may not want to wear this one in the mosh pit). While it’s not exactly delicate, all patinated jewelry is vulnerable to abrasion and must be treated with care (this goes for all of the jewelry you buy in general).

  • As we all know, sterling silver jewelry tarnishes. The best way to combat tarnish aside from wearing it—YES, actually wearing your silver prevents it from oxidizing— is to store your jewels in a zip-lock bag with the air squeezed out, and if you can add a little anti-tarnish slip with it, all the better. Incidentally, your lovely has been shipped in a zip-lock along with a little anti-tarnish snip.

  • Store your new lovely in the zip-lock bag along with the anti-tarnish snip, inside of the muslin provided with your order and she should remain pristine. Also, please store all of your jewelry alone to avoid your pieces rubbing against and scratching each other.

BTW, y’all, nothing that I do is A.I. or mechanically made. Everything in my shop is made here, by me, for you. I will never use A.I. to descibe my work or cut corners by buying ‘blanks’ and passing it off as handmade. As long as this site is here, it is 100%, original work made with my own two hands and all of my time.

THANK YOU for buying handmade. May you always stand out in a crowd like the amazing being that you are! xo
