The light of summer begins to dim by degrees, imperceptibly at first, then each day the sky dampens with a determination to pull in autumn, giving us a time to turn inward for those long, dark months. For now, we enjoy the moment, wearing our favorite linen dresses with a pair of simple sandals to carry us through the day. This dress is so lovely. It is comfortable. Easy. It loves a picnic and a night out with a little sweater draped about the shoulders. Made of a brilliant white organic linen that I’ve dyed in my organic indigo vat. Fine finished seams, neck and arms edged in linen. I’ve not attached the belt in case you wanted to wear it as a shift around the house, and those little belt loops are never a pretty thing.
