This boro swing blouse is one in the series. It is made with a mosaic of lightweight, vintage Japanese indigo dyed cotton with just a pinch of linen on the back shoulder. Bound with British silk at the collar and linen around the arms, this blouse is truly wabi-sabi in that it looks simple, but it is really tricky to get all of the pieces to match up precisely. Well then one must patch the spots that need attention, à la boro, and finish the seam allowances so the inside isn’t a warren of untended seams. We arrive at the perfect, ‘simple’ swing blouse just in time for summer. Hand stitching throughout. One of a kind. Hand finished neckline and armhole. Raw hem.Fine-finished seams. 24” long x 19” across the chest. Due to its relaxed fit, will happily fit a S-M gal.
